Is there a feature to clone my website using WP Umbrella?
The cloning feature is planned in our roadmap and it will be available in the upcoming months. You can read more about the feature that would allow you to clone your website from our public roadmap.
Do you provide malware scanning feature or malware cleaning?
The malware scanning feature is not available in WP Umbrella. Instead, we take a proactive approach to monitoring, focusing on early detection rather than malware identification and removal. Our security tool, powered by Patchstack, performs vulnerability scans before they are publicly disclosed, running automatically four times a day (every 6 hours). Our security practices follow industry best standards to ensure the safety and integrity of WordPress. These include keeping WordPress, plugins, and themes consistently updated, as well as using well-maintained and actively supported plugins.
Regarding malware scanning and removal, traditional plugin-based scanning in WordPress is inherently flawed and impractical. Any effective scanning or cleaning process would require significant manual effort, such as reviewing modified files.
