Want to offer additional services beyond WP Umbrella’s standard features? With the Custom Works feature, you can document and showcase extra tasks like SEO optimizations, PHP module installations, and more—keeping your clients informed and happy!

Prerequisites:
A WordPress site with WP Umbrella installed
An active WP Umbrella account
Steps to Follow
Step 1: Enable the Custom Works Section
Log in to WP Umbrella and navigate to Reports.
Click on the report's edit button (pen icon) where you want to add Custom Work.
Go to PDF Content and click + Add Section.
Select Custom Work.

This enables you to include extra services in your reports.
Step 2: Open the Project & Access the Report Tab
Next, go to the project (website) where you want to add custom works.
Click on Report» Custom Works.

Step 3: Add Your Custom Works
You’ll be able to enter your Task Title, the date when the task was performed, as well as choose the time spent on this task (in minutes, hours or days), and the task description. If the task is recurring, i.e., every Monday, feel free to set it as a “recurring task” and it will be automatically added.
List all additional services you’ve provided for your client. Examples:
Optimized images for better SEO
Installed a new PHP module
Once done, click Save.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
1. My custom works aren’t showing up in the report. Why?
Ensure the Custom Works section is enabled in Report Content Settings. Double-check the completion date—custom works only appear in reports once marked as completed.
2. Can I edit or remove custom works after adding them?
Yes! Go to the Report tab, find your custom works, click Actions, and edit or delete them as needed.

3. What kind of services should I list as custom works?
Anything outside WP Umbrella’s automated tasks! Examples include manual site optimizations, security checks, custom plugin configurations, and more.
