How to Whitelist WP Umbrella's IP Address in Cloudflare

If you're using Cloudflare and want to ensure WP Umbrella can function properly, whitelisting our IP address in your Cloudflare settings is necessary. This process allows WP Umbrella to communicate with your websites effectively. 😊

WP Umbrella has four IP adresses and you need to whitelist them all in Cloudflare.

IPV4:

  • 212.129.45.77/32
  • 212.83.142.5/32
  • 212.83.175.107/32

IPV6:

  • 2001:BC8:2B7F:801::292/64

Steps to Follow 🚀

Step 1: Log in to your Cloudflare account. Start by logging into your Cloudflare account.

Step 2: Navigate to the correct Cloudflare section.Once logged in, navigate to 'Security' > 'WAF' > 'Tools'.

Step 3: Enter the IP address information.Under 'IP Access Rules', enter the following information:

  1. For 'Value', enter: 141.95.192.2
  2. For 'Action', select: Allow
  3. For 'Zone', select all websites in your account.
  4. Click 'Add'.

Now, repeat the same process for our IPv6 address: 2001:41d0:306:1702::/64.

With these steps, WP Umbrella should now be able to access and monitor your website properly. 👍

Step 4: Contact your hosting provider's support if necessary.If the problem persists, reach out to your hosting provider's support with the following message:

"Hello,

We are using a plugin called WP Umbrella to manage our website. The plugin uses the WordPress REST API, but it seems that it's being blocked from functioning. Our team is currently receiving 401 unauthorized errors. Could you please whitelist the following IP adresses:

  • 212.129.45.77/32
  • 212.83.142.5/32
  • 212.83.175.107/32
  • 2001:BC8:2B7F:801::292/64

Their User-Agent is : WPUmbrella

Thank you for your assistance."
